Xpanse 22 is a talent based musical show providing the stage for Trinitains to showcase their vocal/musical/rhythmic talents, consisting of 3 phases. Xpanse will place as the first of its kind in the region aiming to broaden and prosper, in time of the sesquicentennial year of Trinity to provide every opportunity for students to prosper should be focus and seeing that nothing of this sort has been established in the past few years the Media Unit has planned to organize Xpanse 22.

Guidelines & Info
Entry types: Solo, Duo, & BandGenres: Performance - All Genres, Composition: Must be presented in a performance
- Participant must be a Trinitian present or graduated between the years of 2019 - 22.
- If you are part of a band, at least one member must be a Trinitain.
- Time Limit 3 - 6 minutes.
- Competitors will be evaluated on technique, musicianship, and overall presentation. Judges’ comments will not be made available to competitors until after the selection of the finalist. Competitors are encouraged to inquire for comments directly from the judges only after the competition has ended. Upon such requests, sharing comments with performers is at the sole discretion of each judge.
- Choice of music is entirely at the discretion of the competitor. Participants can perform both originals and covers for auditions.
- It is expected that each competitor's choice of music fits within the time allowed for each round. Timing begins with the first note/word of the performance and continues between pieces. If a competitor exceeds the given time allotted, that competitor will be asked to stop but at no penalty to his or her evaluation. Competitors will be only be heard up to the allotted time.
- Judges’ verdict is final.
- By being selected for the finals of the competition all performers agree to terms allowing the The Media Unit of Trinity College, to use audio and video recording of their performance for archival and promotional purposes.
